2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Mendocino Aldine Vineyard |
||||||||
The 2001 Aldine Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby-purple color and a concentration of spicy currant, herbal, dusty and chocolate aromas, along with a nice thread of spicy, toasty oak. On the palate, this is a big, full Cabernet with lots of elegance. Concentrated flavors of currants, berries, chocolate, spice and dusty pepper blend well with the toasty oak, great structure and balance all the way through the long, full finish. Hand selected from the Aldine Vineyard, the fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in the Talmadge Bench area in Mendocino County. |
